Cambridge Endowment for Research in Finance (CERF)

 

For the third year CERF (Cambridge Endowment for Research in Finance) and CCFin (Cambridge Centre for Finance) are offering the Best CERF Alumni Society Research Paper Award. The award comprises a cash honorarium of £2,000 and a certificate that is awarded to the author of the best research paper in finance. The paper will be entered in the CCFin/CERF Working paper series’ webpages.

Who is eligible?

This award is only available to current CERF post-doctoral research associates, and to former postdoctoral research associates who are members of the CERF Alumni Society.

Conditions of entry:

 ▪ Papers must be on an aspect of finance and should not yet be published in a journal or book.

▪ Paper must be in English, and must contain: abstract, introduction, method, results, discussion, conclusion and reference list.

 ▪ By entering the competition, entrants agree to abide by all conditions and procedures set out here and by the decisions of the academic committee that selects the winning paper.

▪ Any changes in conditions, procedures or deadlines will be published on this website.

▪ Entrants are responsible for ensuring they are aware of the latest details and the deadlines Procedure

The form requires you to submit the file of the paper as well as provide a link to the paper on SSRN. You should therefore make sure that the paper is available on SSRN before submitting the paper for the Best paper award competition. Papers will be evaluated by a committee of academics who have not submitted any papers for this competition.
