The legal framework for venture capital in Ukraine
The project aims to carry out research on the legal environment for venture capital in Ukraine, and, more generally, on the role that venture capital can play in Ukraine's post-conflict reconstruction. The project will conduct a law-and-economics analysis of relevant features of Ukrainian law and transactional practice, and carry out empirical research in the form of interviews with VC specialists based in London and (by zoom) elsewhere, who are active in the Ukrainian market. The outputs will include one or more academic articles and a report in the nature of an industry ‘white paper’ written for practitioners and policy makers.
