CERF and F&F Monday Lunch Talks - 2025 / 2026
These lunch meetings run Mondays during term time where CERF Fellows, other CERF members and the Finance group in CJBS meet for informal talks and discussions. This initiative, meant to spread information and awareness of ongoing research within the area of finance in the University of Cambridge, is a welcome opportunity to discuss various academic questions in a relaxed and informal atmosphere. These talks provide people with an opportunity to present early-stage research and get some feedback from colleagues. We try to limit the number of talks to about 4 per term, to allow faculty and researchers to discuss work over lunch informally or exchange information in weeks when no talk takes place.
The Monday Lunches that have taken place this academic year are:
13 October: 'Managerial Attention to Financial Markets' by Zhenkai Ran (CJBS)
20 October: A presentation by Lennart Niermann (Faculty of Economics)
