In its second year, the Financial Management Writers' Workshop on Tuesday, 7 June 2016 at the Cambridge Judge Business School helps young scholars publish their work by giving them the opportunity to receive advice on their papers from leading scholars who are experienced at publishing in top journals.

The CERF Cavalcade aims to give you a glimpse of the research that is currently sponsored by CERF. The cavalcade consists of a procession of six speakers. Each speaker has only twelve minutes to present his work, turning the cavalcade into a dynamic event that should keep you engaged from beginning to end.

This event is aimed at City practitioners to stimulate discussion and research ideas that have practical relevance to the industry and to showcase some of the research in finance that is done in Cambridge.

For the second year, CERF is organising a Corporate Finance Theory Symposium.The symposium consists of nine high quality papers in the broad area of corporate finance theory.

Financial Risk & Network Theory - Seminar
This two-day conference celebrates contributions to the Journal of Network Theory in Finance and aims to spark interest and feed new collaborations in this emerging multidisciplinary field.

Summary:

This symposium brings together researchers working in the broader field of financial accounting. The aim is to explore aspects of financial accounting from different perspectives and allow discussion and cross-pollination among researchers from the United States, UK, and Continental Europe. Speakers will present work in empirical accounting research at the intersection with banking, corporate finance and asset pricing.
